You can request the persons contact details through ebay, the downside is they are then sent yours too and are advised you have asked for theirs. A quick phone call might resolve it though

Had the same problem, item went for less than it was worth and ta da ! Never arrived ! Tried my best to sort it out then went through eBay got my money back and guess what ? The seller put a similar item up for sale straight away !

Eventually got round to phoning her.
Number is invalid / disconnected.

She has also received her first bad feedback in over 5 years a couple of days ago.
Sounds like something has happened, probably not a malicious attempt to take money.

I've claimed via eBay.
