Missio was... just repair this my mothers old bike so my wife can ride with it to work and back.

First I changed all cables and housings, also tyres must be changed.
Then seatpost was so stuck that I must cut it and insert clamp again.
Stem was so stuckd that I did have any chage to lower it..
But finally after first small ride, I was only going to tighten bracket...
Then comes fun part...;)

I tighten it, but it did not move anymore... so I take it out... :D :D :D
That brown thing is bearings... :LOL:

do you really think that was necessary, to replace the BB? :shock:
or did you expect any problems with it in the near future? ;)

But we must have bike what she can leave outside on the centrum for a day... ;) And hopefully somebody will steal this one soon :cool:
 
Does that not take people back though? Back to the days of re-greasing BB's every month, before the days of fit and forget sealed? The glorious sight of a knackered and rusty bearing cage, and a BB shell full of rusty brown crap!!! :LOL: :LOL: :LOL:
