Sounds like you guys had a good ride too this morning while I was having `quality` time walking the dogs with my lovely wife
I had a ride with an unfit mate ..`captain spreadsheet`yesterday a lovely rolling ride in the northamptonshire countryside round long buckby and Althorp he bailed at the halfway point even though I was being patient and kind It had taken us 1 hr 30 mins then I went back the hilly route and blasted it in 30 mins it was an epic ride that put a grin on my face despite several steep climbs...when I got back to his I had one of those phone conversations with SWMBO where you try to explain that it took you longer than expexted and yes I know I said I would be back mid afternoon but......
So I am thrilled you all had a good time but I couldnt really be with you :roll:
Looking forward to Tues though and I am bringing the Rocky out to play

we all missed you steve and the cake was great had a go on john,s 29 er ,it was like a sofa on wheels i think he nearly messed himself on my orange

If you thought johns 29er was like a sofa on wheels you should try mine with front suspension,it's so good you don't hardly ever have to pedal!(well maybe just now and then!)

There are so many other bikes I want before a 29'er
I would like to try one though and I just know that it makes sense like headsets without threaded steerers :shock: and V brakes....yeughhh :evil:
and four arm chain sets grrrrr :evil: and don't get me started on stuff like Gripshifters and Riser bars Aaaarghhhh......

I guess i put the blame on a 65 year old body!! on another subject did Ed get his rear hub sorted? if not i have a singlespeed rear wheel you can borrow,i could bring it on Tues.

Geoff I think he is getting it done under warranty so he might welcome your offer as it will probably take a few weeks

thanks for your offer geoff - I'm using a spare set of 29er wheels with a singlespeed sprocket and spacers, so I should be ok.
