East Midlands Area chat and rides thread

weekend

anyone about this weekend?

i will be on a proper steel bike , with canti brakes ,gears and no springs

and it,s nice seeing steve going cold turkey because i got more rocky mountains than him, he,s the new amy

it's the heavy breathing with the sheep noises that is worrying

lambing time could be interesting..... must look out for longer legs.

Ed: I've pulled together a route that covers all your advertised landmarks with the exception of Jaguar Wood . We should pre-ride it.

thanks - will have a look in a bit - wrt Jaguar Wood - I meant John's Jaguar Wood (i.e. back of Calke) rather than the 'official' Jaguar Wood :D

John and I are riding at 8.15 on Saturday from Smisby (main street, outside the pub car-park). The usual loop taking in Tunnel Wood and the new trails.

Any takers?
