Sorry to the guys i said i would meet at 8.30. Intentions were good, bike was in the car and kit ready last night. Then i made the devaststing mistake of switching the alarm off at 7am this morning and not getting straight out of bed ( that's the fallout from finishing night shift on Friday morning ), next thing i know it's 8.20! Will definately be able to do something next Saturday, if anyone has got plans, and can definately make the following 2 Tuesdays. I hate letting people down. :roll:

it tipped it down whilst we waited in the car so no probs
I ruined the ride anywar ...sorry Rob with a series of mechanicals
it seems coiling the cable for the rear mech is a bad idea ...as it wraps itself round the jockey wheel..and my middle rig was too worn to be of any use so we played around in the woods for a bit then bailed

Riding out from Ashby, and back into a headwind added some miles, and Robin Wood was fun as usual.
That Marin is really nice, terrific colour and a nice change from the grey. A good lesson learnt regarding cable loops.
