today i have been mostly fixing bikes. New freehub on surly and new chain links. Hoping tooth missing on chainring not too crucial given other bits sorted. New chainrings in post anyway, but may arrive too late.

John and I repeated Thursday's route with no punctures or mechanicals. Wasn't particularly frantic, but it was most enjoyable.

Real bummer you had the rim split If you need a spare wheel for the time being let me know - I have some spare.
