Early Saracen Lovers Anonymous......

Re:

As above. It will be a prior year model rebadged as a limited edition. Usually lower end. Decent serviceable bike but of little value. Seem to pop up quite a lot.

Here's my time-warp 1988 Tufftrax - pimples on the tyres kind of thing.

Hi Guys, anyone know any info about this Saracen? code on rear is DO2 1110
thanks

Not much - I know Saracen made a lot of non-regular model bikes.

There was one of these for sale in the North East recently.

Hi Heavy, just interested in how old it is and what frame was used...been having a lil look around and can see similarities with Tufftrax, eiger and Traverse.
heres some photos to show what i mean...(mines the last photo)

The yellow one is 88 - a few years older than yours, which is more like my 94? Tufftrax, and a Gmax special edition that I had.

Afternoon all

New to Retrobike and after some more information about a Saracen bike I have owned since the 80s. It has been my bike, my Dad's bike and now mine again. It's a survivor rather than a show queen but I am finally getting around to a spruce up and would like to know more about it. Can anyone help?

So, the thread is 'Early Saracen Lovers Anon'

And an early prototype is posted, hand built by a prominent frame builder and you all dribble over a custard yellow mass produced nylon monkey metal clad boat anchor??

You lot are fickle!!!
