EA70 stem ok for off road?

I’m building up a modern bike and the stem I currently have is a bit too short. I like the clean and unfussy look of Easton stems and would have bought one today, but looking at the website, the lack of any mention of the suitability for off road use had me worried.
BITD Ea70 and Ea90’s were used on both road and mtb’s..
What’s changed, or am I worrying about nothing?

These stems are more than fine for offroad - the problem with a used stem is if a PO has overtorqued the bolts and damaged the threads.

There's the 26/25.4 bar clamp issue too, often not relevant.

Modern carbon stuff is much worse though.
If an alloy stem looks ok, it probably is ok.🤞

Branding.
Race Face bought Easton, then both were bought by Fox Suspension. Race Face was kept as the mtb line and Easton became the road line.
