My old Raleigh Dynatech Circa 1993, Deore Exage 500 CX gear train.
When I normally ride in the city I tend to use the centre chainwheel with all of the rear wheels as required.
Recently I notice when I am on the lowest rear gear large wheel, the chain will jump off the centre chainwheel on the the small chainwheel.
I normally keep the drive train clean and suitably lubricated.
I have checked all the adjustments several times, all appear to be correct.
I do expect that there will be some considerable wear, after all this time.
Reluctant to take it to a cycle shop, bit short of cash at the mo! so what is the best way forward?
