just been down the framebuilders again today.
its a dawes imperial and is now up for sale at £300 ono, so i took a few pics of it to tempt you lot!
time warp condition is a massive understatement

I had one of these (see photo). That's in early 1992, but I think I bought it earlier - more like 1990 or 1991. I ended up disliking the white components and took Nitromors to them strip the paint off (fickle teenage taste!).

That was the bike I had before I got an Orange Dynamo (which I'm currently selling on eBay and hence my visit to Retrobike to search for previous interest in Dynamos when I stumbled accross this thread).

Having just looked at some old photos, I'm thinking that model was from 1991.

i bought a bare 500 frame on ebay, built it up with some various campag bits, it was a beatiful ride. a chap in Slough bought the frame from me and has rebuilt it in shimano ax, it's absolutely beautiful with all the blue accents matching the frame colour.
i'm sure i was told it was a 1991 frame by someone on the raleigh bikes forum, it wasn't in the catalogue from 1990, which you've probably seen already - google raleigh dynatech 500 to find it as i'm not allowed to post a url or link yet!

Sorry should have said on the Dawes and also any of the others if possible as the ones on mine have been rubbed off.
