What's the best/easiest way to remove a surface layer of rust from stainless spokes? Just normal Autosol etc or is there a sneaky/easy method?

Re:

I recommend Bronze Wire Wool for removing surface corrosion from a wide range of materials

Its available in Fine/Medium/Coarse varieties , and being bronze is much softer than conventional
wire wool and does not leave any surface scratches behind after use . Also it does not break apart
so easily

I have found the ' Fine ' grade ideal for freshening up the so called ' rustless spokes ' most frequently
found on older bikes
