Dropper cable, does quality matter?

I've just bought an onoff pija post for a build and need to sort a cable for it. It takes a brake cable which is fine, but my stash doesn't have a full length outer long enough, well not of the quality I'd usually use on builds. Not sure why or how I even have some, but I've got some basic inner/outer Wilkinson sets.

Would this bargain basement cable and outer be a corner cut, or will it be fine? Am I better off buying a length of nice outer instead?

Is it a lined outer? If so then fucknit, slap it on there.

Smooth cable routing will be more important. I tend to use whatever old cable is lying about and I’ve never noticed any difference in performance.
