Dream Bike?

I've been reading through what bikes you all have out there and listed all my old bikes in one topic (can't remember the name), and it got me thinking.

When i was a teen money was tight so i got what i could afford from working in my local bike shop and buying ex-demos etc. I have been trying to remember what my dream bike was and could i now find one to buy now i could afford it.

I have been thinking hard and i think it was between a Dyna-tech team, Trimble and Klein Attitude......I'm still looking!!!

So... What was yours?

Mine was a Proflex 957. Money was also tight to I ended up with a 97 Beast. Great bike, but sold it off when my collection got too big. Ended up with my 957 a few years later at a fraction of the price. It lived up to my expectations too.

I wanted a Swork FSR like Jason Mcroy which really started me off mountain biking.

....i started on a 91 trek 8000....i saved £700 from a paper round and sweeping my dads factory at weekends,my dad had a moment of weakness upon seeing my plight and stumped up the remaining £100.....in the summer of that year i found myself talking to dave hemming at the malvern classic,he was sat astride a gleaming klein attitude in the green/white/pink team colours.....i was smitten....(with bike,not the man)......i harboured my desire for years and earlier this year landed the above bike,it is the best physical possession i have ever owned and i to this day warn my better half that in the event of fire/flood or nuclear strike it is to be rescued first from my home......

ha....thanks......my second bike was an orange aluminium o......i adorned it with as much red ano as i could afford,down to chainring bolts,straddle bolts and spoke nipples.......the use post bits are a hangover from then........i currently have a super chunky syncros post in its place,as the use shim barely reached the top tube and i struggle to trust it supporting my 15 stone carcass!!!

i want the new s-works enduro carbon 2010 , just watched a vid on it , 26lb 160 travel full lock out ect ect , thing is by the time i can afford one it will be retro, quite possibly the best one bike to do it all ever made so far,
