dream bike 1998 Yeti DH6

Thanks. Late 90s full sus bikes are my favorite I'm realizing. It was a hard choice the other day buying the DH6 because there was a nice black and yellow Tazmon on ebay that I really wanted. But how many Tazs do I need...

Re:

So here is where I'm a bit of a idiot. The DH6 is a 12mm thru rear axle. So I bought a 12mm thru axle Ringle built rear wheel. It had been run on a Schwinn Straight 6 before. I thought it was a no brainer so I bought it thru eBay. Well look at my pics. It seems the hub has something else going on that I do not understand. This is my first thru axle rear frame. Any help appreciated and feel free to make fun of me. I need to learn.

Re:

Do you have a problem with the hub spacing between the stays? I had issues building a 2008 Kona Stab where some spec info said it had a 135mm rear hub spacing but turns out you need a specific Ringle 150mm hub but you removed a cone spacer on the brake side and it fitted perfect. Measure between the stays and try to look up what size hub it needs on the net. Nowdays there too many hub variations even through they have neither a 10" or 12" bolt - could be 135mm, 142, 150 or even 157 etc.

Its a 135. The axle is 12mm. I need to go by the shop and talk to a old DH guy. I don't know what I'm looking at.

Nice bike. The Boxxers are the only forks that can be put on that frame.

With regards to the rear hub, that looks like the old 150mm hub that my a Demo 9 had. The spacer fir the none drive side is not fixed which used t make it a pain putting the rear wheel in.
