I'm loving this build. Very envious. I always loved Doug's work he is up there with the real leading lights of early MTB design. I had the pleasure of riding the first Manitou full suss that was imported into the UK on the sShokwave trip to Greece in '92 for a full day. It's the one that's featured in the review in the Manitou catalogue section on this site. The hardtails were fab too. In Greece I was riding my Salsa Ala Carte with Mag 21s on but the seals blew out so I swapped them for Manitou forks, which I ran for the next few years. Gave them to my brother when they stopped working, he can't remember what he did with them. Probably binned them . Tragic, Enjoy, it looks ACE....!
