Thank you Rich! THAT is the magazine article that made me fall (in love!) for the DB Manitou. I remember the comment "in for a penny, in for a pound". Now that brings back some memories. Thanks again!

Had the stem polished. Just waiting on some custom copies of the original Manitou hub washers to arrive in the post and then its cable and tuning time, phew!

Last piece of the puzzle, got two front hub washers made up that are exact replicas of the real thing.
