I'm sure, I have everything I need to complete a build, I start assembling, and then realize, I haven't got any more cable ferrules or cable tidies anywhere.....

Find some ODI attacks grips at a good price, buy 2 pairs and wait for them to arrive. Take them to the garage to put them in the (now correct and soon to be labelled...) parts box only to find I have a pair already, with 2 pairs of NOS yeti ones too that I had kinda forgotten about...

I hate that.... (or an excuse for another build!).

Same as above, stock up on something only to find you already have loads. Recent example being SPD cleats!

Cutting a front brake cable outer to the perfect length, wrapping the bars in the perfect tape, realising you want a fraction more height on the bars......

This…. aswell as binning/scrapping something then needing one or even more infuriating someone else binns/scraps said things in the “name” of tidying up (ahaha ppffttt) and then needing them
