I recently took a wonder through one of my partners Dad's garages/workshop, He pointed out a bike that had been stored there since he was given it many years ago when a fabricators workshop he had done some work on closed.
It took some getting out from behind many items of builders equipment, However once out it became clear it was from at least the 70's or early 80's & complete & original, With a dust off and a little air put in the tyres it was actually rideable!!. It was mentioned it had apparently been a prototype that never made it to production, I then done a little research & found it was indeed number 23 of Don Smith's 'Springer' proto BMX.
