does anyone remember this bike?

Dirt Disciple
so my first ride was a 1990 nishiki barbarian with elevated chainstays. rather than resembling an alien or an ariel, it looked more like a yeti ultimate without the looped stays.

i think nishiki was a different brand in canada back then, a name used by norco to sell taiwanese frames under.

anyway, i can't find any info. on this bike online, so i'd love to just see if anyone remembers this rig.

it had 500LX, straight forks and a green-to-blue fade paint job.

more impressive that the original poster is still on here and has only racked up 59 posts in that time

hi
would you believe i just bought another one!!!! exactly the same size and colour too. this one from original owner. hasn't changed a thing on it but tires from original. he had original reciept. was purchased in early 1991. so this could be a left over 1990 or a new 1991. came with original manual too. date on manual was 1990. will post picture soon.
