Do you replace worn out rings on chainsets? Or bin the lot?

Change the rings otherwise it's like binning the chainset when you bottom bracket wears out

I virtually renewed a very tired Sugino triple by replacing the middle ring with a new raceface and simply reversing the granny ring, big ring was still very good as the bike had been used mostly off road. It cost peanuts and runs like new. See Cinder Cone in my sig for pics etc. That was nearly five years ago and still going strong as a city hack bike.
Very satisfying to restore stuff rather than just bin the lot..
