The flip side of this is people who dont have the basic manners to respond directly to a PM offer. Whether its an exact match, priced over their 'non stated' budget limit, wateva. Manners can be in short supply on here these days or maybe im just old skool That being said, I have prolly forgotten to respond on occasion myself. Apologies if I have.

Sometimes the run of the mill stuff is fairly cheap and unless you're local then the postage costs means it's not worth posting as people will baulk at the cost of the item plus the P & P.

I've had more success on the Facebook mtb trading pages.

Its strange. The interest on FB is as strong as ever, certainly in the US and may even be growing. Seen nice stuff go for good money on the bay lately.

Bit of a funny one this so thought i would have a quick rant!
Over the past 6 months i have placed several wanted ads on here and literally had NOTHING back from other members.
Not looking for anything really special (i have sourced the rare stuff on ebay) just basic run of the mill components but its like nobody wants to help and as i look down the wanted adverts mine are the only ones with 0 replies!?
Its starting to piss me off as i cant get my project completed for the sake of a few run of the mill parts.

I saw your wanted ad and took the time to find the ad I'd seen on fb for the Ti cogs, then sent Robert (build69) a message with a link to your ad and voila! There are still people who go out of their way to help others.
