If you are going to have an Ti custom made,...would you consider a 29"

i spoke to Steve Pott's and he would go for that 100%

Most US builders are more into 29ers or 650's than standard 26" mtb's nowadays.... just not as conservative as the europeans (on this field ;) )
I'll be rebuilding the GROOVY bigwheel with a Rohloff and give it a shot myself (being 6ft5.... 1.97cm) project will be finished in about 2/3 weeks.
Must admit that the 29er feels very natural for someone my size, not sure if the handling is something I'll like on short twisty singletracks though...... time will tell. And again if you would like to have a spin just drop me a line :D

I didn't count, but I think of the esthablished builders most are still orientated on 26''

I think it are particularly new or relatively new builders who commit to 29'', for some just because they believe in the concept while others understand the 26'' cake is already sliced and the 29'' as a growing, dynamic market still has to. For them it is maybe more mean than aim.

I think 29'' is a great concept. If I were in the market for a MTB today, I would sure consider it.

Glad you think the Commencal is nice. Thought I'd add a pic of the wishbone...
Someone has really gone to town with the pierced tubes and welded end-caps (obviously nowt on the telly and no girlfriend waiting for them) ;)
