Diamondback Axis TT

Ask the DWP for A crisis loan ......just don't say the crisis is I,m skint and I,ve seen a nice push bike I would like to own ....they waste my money prefer for it to go to a worthy cause :)

Re:

yep it looks nice, They look like Topline cranks to me, Ritchey tyres, Stronglight headset, PaceRC30s - my kind of build I will probably have a bid as the TT is on my list, and worry about the logistics of getting it back to Kent if I'm lucky enough to secure her, fingers crossed

Re:

I've asked a couple of q's about it - the usual cosmetic and structureal details on a ti frame. The main one I was wondering about what that Royce decal might be covering on the top-tube? my guess - bar-swing scuff, worse case a ding - that would drive me mad right on the top tube - will see what the response is.

Re:

With the current configuration I can't see the bars hitting the top tube. I suspect the buyer just wanted a reminder of one of the most expensive yet invisible parts on his build.
I have one of these frames in near nos condition and I have to say the welds are very very very tidy indeed, better than some of the 'bigger' names. This frame looks a bit dull but a gentle wash down with hot soapy water and some fine scotchbrite and, notwithstanding any undisclosed damaged, will come up a treat.

This is my unicorn. And it's my kind of build. Unfortunately, I am not in a position to bid on her, having just started a new job having been made redundant at the beginning of December. I wouldn't be surprised if this goes over a grand

Re:

For those that might be looking for one; I'll probably be selling my Axis TT frame in the not too distant future... pm me if you'd like to discuss :)

First refusal to PT ;)

Cheers

Re:

Bargain indeed!....I reckon there's roughly £600 in parts PLUS the frame!
