Re:

Looking good mate ! I started a ride thread if you're ready in time
Looks like no one is interested yet though

and finally - a nice(ish) shot of the build at 99% complete :)

pedals needed and replacing rear cassette with a minty match for the groupset...

I just feel that color-wise seatpost and stem have to match.

In any case the bike looks great!

I agree, a black seat post would look even better there. However, the 26.6 seat post size is not an easy one to find if you're picky about brand and colour...

Well it might be just me but i like the set up just as it is as as the black and silver seems to be a nice balance wiith that lovely frame imho ..

Re:

Thanks for the comments people!
I love it all and it's my first build that I've taken seriously.
The silver post is actually a nice champagne gold to match the bars and rims but the shiney finish doesn't let it show up in pictures, in person it comes up better (but is still a little subtle).
The stem isnt ideal, but I can't seem to find a slim black, short reach ritchey stem. The one in the picture is a little on the chubby side and fouls the cable hanger, which I had to remove the locking nut from so the front brake cable could fit in....
And there's no such thing as a stem with integrated cable hanger in 1 1/8 threadless size....???!!!
Small niggles on a what was a very satisfying build and one I didn't expect to embark on :) :D *nod/wink to Ultrazenith*

with the move next week to a house (with a garage) I'm pretty much set to get this finally FINALLY completed!

i'll be adding these once i figure out if the steerer is long enough/get a replacement steerer if its too short.
in the mean time, once i'm moved and sorted the last 2 pieces (pedals/cassette installed) then im off around the downs for a trundle :)
