dh chain device advise please

am new to the full dh bikes with only single speed front i am purchasing coyote dh3 which doesnt have the three mounting holes that i can see so how do you mount it any advise would be greatly received

so does it just sit over the bottom bracket then

Ive not fitted one myself but I understand they are held in place against the frame by the bottom bracket, much like the old roller arms on the original MRP devices used to be.

Yeah adapter or bb mounted one. Id say if you can to get a bb mounted one as i have had trouble spacing with the adapters before. Always works in the end though.

A lot of chainguides come with adapters these days, so you might just buy one but check before if it's included. I wouldn't spend that much money on an adapter alone, when you can add a few pounds more and get a full guide that is used but in good shape.
