Decent 26" rigid forks?

alas the A to C is right on the money (400mm) but the steerer its cut to 210. no go, sorry.

shame really as it fitted a 2 .4 with ease. ;)

Think you will struggle with older P2 or Spinner. Some time ago I found some on a XL Kona - the uncut steerer was about 230mm.

Not sure if the after market ones were longer though.

I have toyed with the idea of using a bbb tube extender, but the things weigh in at 280 odd grams to start with and then you need to add the a head stem.

Like this....

That way i can leave the threaded headset on and work from there.

The other issue with this approach is wether it will work with a syncros cattle head stem? From the look of it, you need to essentially crush the loose alluminium spacers onto the keyed steer extender to get a grip for the stem....

Im not sure a single bolt syncros system will grip.....could swap stems too, but the weight gain and additional joints is not too appealing.....

the second option is yo get a pair of rockstars out of a Pine mountain and get them cut and extended.....but as they are all unicrown, i'm not sure if that's a go'er.

Maybe thats a question for either Vas of @danson67 ......

Do those extenders not have a separate bolt for the quill than the ahead? The one I used did.
