jeeze, looks like i stand no chance with this crowd...

i'd add more pics but i dont wanna get yelled at.

Bit like....ahem, the Vintage Retro Classic Photo Gallery of MTBR

1) A nice clean photograph of your vintage, retro, or classic MTB. Preferably a full bike, drive side photograph.
2) Try and include or estimate the year along with bike make and model
3) If you have the time, spec out the bike so others can enjoy your hard work. You can use the list below as a template.

I just like the pics myself whether they are of parts, non drive side or on the trail . If I wanna know what a part on a bike is, I'll ask.

I hate rules too

There are a lot of rules I have to enforce, and some I get to.

Sorry, but a bunch of crappy, out of focus, poorly framed pictures followed by limited info...makes for a sucky gallery.
Who wants to sift through all of that?

How is that different than having to post your bike in the 'readers rides' forum here w/ full description before being allowed to post it in BoTM?

its no different

the klunker has a B72 (dated 1975 no less!!)...or is it the color of that B17 that gets ya?

1991 Trimble

Well this will possibly be my only time to enter this competition as you all know my bikes are half breeds  Put i use my bikes every day so have to have a 100% functoning bike. I can't sit and wait for 7/8 speed and other retro goodies to come up for sale. I'd love to. So here goes away

Frame 1990- Trimble frame
1990-Bullseye hub/1990Campac Atec rim 28hole
2007-Hope pro 3 hub/2007Mavic 717xc rim 32 hole
2007-XT Crankset (clearly based on retro Bullseye)
oldish Ritchey pedals
oldish Magura brakes
2006 (not made any more) Hope ti QR
2007 USE Seat pin carbon/sella filte seat
2007 Hope stem (standard size)
2007 USE carbon standard bar
2007 XT Shadow rear mech/ XT front
1990 Ritchey Logic Forks
Don't think the rules say it has to be 100% retro. Sorry if i have broken the rules. Also this is my work/spare bike.

Tony, just love your Trimble  ;) That's a winner!
Thanks :D Got the best of retro & new :D Plus all the brand names are from BITD

Nice bikes all!

Will be contributing the Goat FS this month as the black cranks arrived yesterday for it.... need to get the rings on ce soir...

Has JV and the mod's agreed on a GTOTM for January, cus I know JV was toying with the idea.
If its not going to happen I'll put the RTS in to get its arse kicked, if it is I'll save it for January...... ;)

I had better enter my Slingshot.

94 Frame repainted/boarded with a Roo baar/stem and Fuquay
straight blade fork.
Syncross cranks with Raceface/XTR combo.
Nuke Proof hubs (rear allready blown) with 217's Revo blk spokes.
Avid ultimates and Tri aligns.
