I'd be inclined to agree with Mr Boston and Mr Dare :)

Maybe going for mostly silver components with colour highlights/accents?

Having said that, it is your bike and you have ride it and look at it, so you have to be happy with it :D ...I quite like your idea of different colour components, but I think you may need to experiment to find what works and what you like, and it may well 'evolve' through various guises before you hit the nail on the head! ;)

Maybe see if you can look at other ti frames with different colour bits on and see what takes your fancy. There are a few in my sig that may be of interest ;)

Have fun :)

Here's a few (to save too much looking!) that I did earlier...

Cheers :)
You got an impressive collection! I voted for your DBR, lovely bike and very classy build. That is the way I like my builds and always done it that way.
Need to find some ano balance here :)

Thanks very much :)

I would point out though, that I just have the four bikes in my collection (16" Axis TT, KHS, Superlight and Lava Dome) all others are previous builds and long gone.

Cheers :)

Re: Dean Titanium [need help with USA parts choice page 4]

So I have to rethink the colours, some parts are pretty clear to me, I want to go for Ringle stem, seatpost, QR's and maybe hubs.
Calipers Onza H.O., levers Kooka or something else.
But I'm not sure what gear to use, what is a good choice for mechs and shifters?

Dare I say Pauls mechs......if you can find them/afford them /gulp

This is how I build my DEAN years ago, still like it the way I did

Dean. Thomson and Salsa parts and full M900... :D

I know, not very exotic but just functional. Sold the DEAN because I found it too "flexy".

They are to expensive for me and I want this to be a rider.
So I have to go for XC Pro, XTR or Gripshift.
It is hard to find any info about the first SRAM mechs, were they around in 94/95?
The Gripshift SRT 800 were, I might go for those, but like to use period correct SRAM mechs to.

Great looking bike Martin, nothing wrong with a functional build.
I can't wait to find out how it rides, hope I don't find it to flexy to.

Re:
