Dawes Super Galaxy, chromed forks - 21" SWAP for 25" frame.

I have a 21" frame I was going to respray but 21 is way too small for me, I need a 25" frame ideally.

The paintwork is destroyed, but the chrome is in great cond. It doesn't seem worth selling, but it definitely is worth having... if you follow me?

I'd consider selling it, but then I'm left with nice components and no frame...

Ideally youd have a frame with chromed forks and stays. I always coveted those bikes.

I've got a 24" Raleigh, too big for me so I was about to swap all the parts on to a smaller frame anyway. It's a bit rusty and I expect you're looking for something a bit better/more interesing anyway!

Thanks for that. I plan to respray anyway, so the paint isnt much of an issue. Given that mine needs a respray to.

I want another "super galaxy" frame, or lighter tourer frame, as the plain old "galaxy" feels heavier. (not that ive weighed it.)
That frame of yours might be really heavy?

Im in the same pos. as you: nice chainset and components to use but no ideal frame

Yes it's too big for me to ride properly, some of the parts are quite nice but I think it's just standard tubing. I don't really like breaking bikes up but not sure what else I'd do with it. Hope you find something.
