Hello Steve, I have a 1991 Dave Yates Columbus Max OR Diabalo which was a full custom build (definitely not for sale!!) and I had a few discussions with "the bearded one" at the old Wallsend factory back in the day.

I think he only built one "DONKISKNOB" for himself but I hope to be wrong.

I think Dave is still building frames in a very long lead time, one man band, way so he might answer an email (just google "Dave Yates" and you will find him).

Good luck in the search, btw if you can find a good Diabalo dont overlook it, mine is still a very sweet bike.

Hiya, i have a DonkisKnob, had it built for me right after release of them by Dave. Was originally in the multi coloured scheme, but had it re-sprayed by Dave later in it's life. It is currently a two tone orange/bronze (like the old Kliens i guess). Would have to check what kit i have still on it, but i know that i have some gold rock shox too !

It was my race bike for years doing the national series etc, excellent bike, not thought about selling, but tbh not ridden it in ages....so maybe )
