da Goat Deluxe

@Retro_Roy :
Very nice bike!
Just 1 VERY IMPORTANT(!) thing:
Please use 4 screws with some bike fat for the bottle holder holes!!!
It's SO important - moreover that you're driving a 30year + STEEL frame around in the mud/wet weather, conditions....
The way it is now, = with OPEN HOLES humidity / water / mud etc... can enter the frame through the holes and wreck HAVOC inside the frame-
rust - corrosion and at one point the frame is lost.
Unfortunately too many frames were lost this way.

many thanks ferghus for that contribution. the paint scheme on it does work.
plus i found a rattle can red that was close. i am happy with how it all turned out.

@Retro_Roy , beautiful build you have there. I’m pretty sure I bought the fork and stem that originally came with your frame.

I have a similar story, I first bought the fork and stem as a set from a seller on Facebook.

Separately, I also picked up a raw mountain goat whiskey town racer that was in dire need of a paint job. I had Rick at D&D paint the frame to match the fork and the result is as you see it here…

well how about that. i hope you do a build thread on here. love to see what you do.
your stem appears to be a ritchey, not a mountain goat stem.

It’s a nitto stem, came with the fork…solid red paint matched to the fork.

And yes, I’ll post a build thread for this one, I’ve gifted this one to my son and we’re going to build it together.
