I rode this from Lands End to John o Groats a few weeks ago as a part of the Ride Across Britain - 985 miles in 9 days - three punctures and a new set of pads on the front were the only issues on the ride, although I also needed new rear hub bearings a few days after I finished! The bike was superb - so comfortable and cruised beautifully over some pretty bad roads around the country

I have a club mate who did it this year and said the weather made it the toughest week he'd ever had on a bike.

I can concur!!

It was much harder than I thought it would be (not that 110 miles a day would ever be easy!) - but definitely a lesson in staying focused and surviving!!
