recently bought a brodie brace for the mag 21 , recieved a card this morning wanting customs payment ..

for a £21 brace , need to pay ................................ £40.74 :evil:

will not be paying that !!!!!!!

this is definatly a mistake vat is only 17.5% your figures seem more like 175% :shock:
what country did it come from?
i bought a set of trigon carbon forks from taiwan for £119 cutoms were trying to charge £170 and were not budging, several arguments on the phone later it turned out that somebody mistook taiwan $ for kong kong $
which made the value of the fork aprox. £500

I wouldnt surprise me if the seller has doubled the value just incase it got lost...

It also depends on what amount they have written on the parcel - i bought a set of sus forks from USA, and they cost me over $100, but the selley put the value of it on the parcel as $30, no i didnt pay anything

customs charge me right on the vat for my wheel jig but parcel wank killed it with a £13.50 handling charge feel your pain brother :x :x :x
