Cougar 653 - now complete and inc lots of photos!

Decided to definitely sell it - it's a lovely thing but just not going to get used by me as my back is going to take some time to recover - it's served its purpose as a project to keep me occupied during my recovery, and I've already identified another project, so out it must go!

It's on the classifieds here: viewtopic.php?f=47&t=412978

I just went on the forum and looked up this post and saw this, which amused me.....if not made me think it was a little spooky!

Wow! This is the same colouring as my Terry Dolan built Reynolds 753, Mine is stamped without a serial number as the BB is stamped with “Malcolm Elliott”. I’ve sent an email to Terry Dolan and he said the colouring was a homage to Malcolm’s Team Seur Jersey. Unfortunately that was all the info he gave so I’m assuming no records were really kept??
I did receive a message from Malcolm who said that he didn’t recognise the colouring of my bike as his was green fading into yellow which reflected his LA Sheriff Chevrolet jersey from 1993. Looks very similar to your bikes colouring!!

@MarkinOz - yours sounds great - a pic would be brill!

I sold mine in the end - I simply couldn't ride it at that stage as a result of my back injury. I'm slightly regretting it as it was a lovely think and I could probably manage it now!

@velocipede Shame you sold the bike but glad the back injury didn’t turn out worse than first thought.
Did you get much information from Terry Dolan?? He didn’t really give me too much info, I don’t think there were many records kept of the builds. http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... a#p3113272
