Proflex deserve a mention for making a full suspension system (that actually worked!) years before the big guys, and looking back they were amazingly good value, but surely they were not ever cool?
'Cool' doesn't have to mean that the suspension was the best around or anything like that so - definately cool.
Especially 855 & 856 with Girvins and the exception being the Arcadia - the poor mans Pro-Flex!
so cool!! My first 856 turned heads as i outclimbed the hardtails at cheddar complete with a bright orange disk on the rear wheel (ok that was retro even then!!)
continued to ride hard and do well racing it... only changed it when i bought the shockabilly and the airline broke the Proflex... now have an 857 with the piggy back noleen, which is really nice... but thats for sara to ride to the shops! mint frame, only ridden once offroad!!
