I'm having a problem with two frames that both only have 1 brazed on cable guide on the top tube and some novel replacement for the 2nd by the seat post - a Kona plastic guide on a 92 Kilauea, and a weird brazed on bit of pipe on a 93 Ridgeback 705rs.
My problem is that I'm trying to work the situation as it is but I'm unable to keep enough tension through the cable to allow the springs to push the caliper back into it's original position, so it stays dragging on the rim. Anyone have any suggestions, besides using full outer cable with a cable tie, or having a cable guide added?
