Pair of nearly new Continental Spike Claw 240 MTB clincher tyres for sale - 26” x 2.1”. Forecasters say it’s going to be the snowiest and iciest winter for ten years, so best be prepared!

These were used just once on the canal path and about four road rides to work and back (6 miles each way). I’ve now sold my mtb bike, so these tyres need a good home.
The pics confirm almost new condition. The fine rubber moulding nodules are all still in place. The studs in the tread bars provide terrific grip on ice and snow. The tyres have a 3-ply, 84 tpi casing. These are the 240 version, so every tread bar has a stud for centre and side grip.
These tyres are so safe in icy conditions, that a promotional video shows Sven Nys riding the cyclo-cross versions on an ice-skating rink, riding around doing figure of eights!
The tyres come with Schwalbe inner-tubes (fitted with the tyres for the five rides and still in powdered chalk) and hopefully I’ve priced the package attractively.
So, two ‘almost new’ Continental Spike Claw 240 mtb clincher tyres (26” x 2.1”) plus two Schwalbe 26” inner-tubes - £38 including postage.
