It certainly looks like a Colnago from the clover-leaf imprint on the seat stay bridge, fork crown and presumably (but can't quite see) lugs. Nothing there would give me cause to doubt it.
The model type can be a little more tricky on Colnagos of this vintage - they don't always put the model name on them. Identifying a C95 from a round tubed Tecnos is tricky. However, if it fits you, rides well, is in good condition and will motivate you to ride it, perhaps the actual model isn't crucial.
Looks good from the pics. Whether it is worth that money is another question altogether. Some Mid-90's steel Colnagos can be had for less, some will be more. (I bought one with 9speed Chorus for £400 a few years ago). However, the right size, right condition Colnago, local to you - then it becomes a question of whether you are happy with the deal. (Will you kick yourself for the next year if you don't buy? etc).
Good luck and let us know how you get on.
