Shimano 600 Headset

the following are all mid '90's NOS SUNTOUR SUPERB PRO parts

Accushift 8 speed downtube levers and cables – from USA
8 speed Ultraglide cassette – from Brick-Lane Bikes
8 speed rear deraileur – from Brick-Lane Bikes
Double front deraileur – from Brick-Lane Bikes
52/42 Chainset – from Japan
36h front and rear hubs – from Brick-Lane Bikes

the rest of the bike :-

1996 NOS Campagnolo Mirage 111mm bottom bracket – from Hilary Stone

Wheels built up using H Plus Sons TB14 wheel rims and double butted stainless spokes with brass nipples. I was unable to find NOS rims in good enough condition so went this route.
Tyres were changed from the gum-wall 25mm Michelin tyres to 23mm Durano+ that you see now as 25mm rubbed on fork bridge.

Chain is new 8speed KMC
Pedals are new MKS Sylvan

The bike has seen barely any mileage, has never been wet (it's too pretty)

This is your chance to own an almost unique and unmarked piece of cycling art. “Soft Paint” frames as good as this are rarely seen let alone seen along with the best deraileurs and chainsets ever produced in the '90's.

Viewing is highly recommended

That is very nice indeed! But I'm curious - is it NOS, or very low mileage?

And how can you not find NOS rims in good enough condition?

It is a NOS bottom bracket, but when I went looking for NOS rims I didn't want ones that were marked, and all the ones that I looked at had some kind of scuff mark.

The bikes done less that 150 miles and never been out in the wet.

Thanks

Absolutely beautiful! Has the later seat stay lug (the same as the one they currently use on the Master) so will be late 1990s on.

Daza,

Could we have the measurements? the head tube should be 117mm for a 54cm Colnago - it looks a bit bigger than that. So seat tube centre to top, top tube centre to centre and head tube top to bottom.
Thanks and regards

Hi

Hopefully these should give you an idea...

Cheers
