Are you serious?Products are not getting more expensive, its your currency that is being de-valuated so you have to pay more for the same.
Hanging on to your 'money' makes you poorer by the minute.

Here we're talking about a second-hand bike from the 90s and between private individuals.....so no tax or duty on it that I know of, at least for the moment.....
I've owned and sold quite a few Colnago Mo bikes in the same condition and with better components, the selling price over the last 10 years for this type of machine was 1000 euros or 1500 if it was in vrmt new condition with all the records etc....
The devaluation, no kidding...
Above all, there are a lot more influenced people who believe they have the holy grail between their hands when it's just a simple book.
