here's some Alan carbonio shots from within this forum, notice the difference in tt cable guide locations, the early Alan's had 3 cable guides on top, the later two internal holes, also on top
this Colnago freak/unique has 3 cable guide situated on the tt underside

so the carbitube was lte '80,s , and you'd think it may be too early a model to tie in with the Mapei GB era, but I received this info about teams colors...
" Since ......was on a tight budget and sponsor changes every 1 or 2 years many frames were repainted. Mine (probably used earlier in the Yoko-Superconfex team) has the blue-yellow (buckler) colours with the silver stripe and the Ernesto autograph but no Master or Olympic decals"
this would explain how this late 80's esa I had ended up with early '90's Buckler decor
