Quite an early one, possibly repainted at some point.

Yep, early one is that. Don't think it's a re-paint as have seen others similar. They seemed to knock out all kinds of colour/decal designs early on.

I would say this is a 1990 model looking at the rear design,I'm after an early one too,an 88 in a larger size and nickel finish perhaps

I'd call it as at most 1990, maybe earlier going by the decals on the stem. The Clockwork was made from Tange Infinity, not Prestige
