wooohooooooo.......just put 40 psi in rear tyre of my newly built clockwork......final job of the day!........bike number 3 completed in my list of 5 "must own" steeds.......pics to follow when sun is out!!........

thanks,i picked it up last weekend from r7ctr.....thanks andy!,it was nice to only have to make a 10 mile journey to collect it rather than my usual trick of making impulse purchases from cumbria!....all in not too bad a condition either....the bottom bracket was original cup and cone number but on inspection totally shot so i have installed a new dura ace number....i repacked both hubs and headset, trued the wheels and replaced all cables and outers....pretty standard fare really......my original plan was for a full respray on the frame, the lads in my lbs have a good contact to do the job and i was on the verge of sending it on wednesday but i kind of like the odd scar in the paint,it bears testament to its 22 years of life i think......just took it out for a few miles on the towpaths with my kids in tow and very nice it feels too.....long live steel i say!!....
