Sorry for my lack of overall knowledge, but all I've ever owned is Onza Ho Titanium's.I’ve got some Shimano multi release, searching for compatibility gives mixed opinions…
Thank you for your help...I'm kind of going in blind to a world of spds again!I can’t remember exactly but most SPD types were SPD compatible I thought? I’m sure for example, I have some Girvin pedals that use the Shimano cleats.
They (the Big S) used to make a multi release and single release cleat. I don’t suppose this has changed. There are so many Shimano pedals on and in the market, you will always find a bargain. They last ages as well. I had just serviced my original XT pedals that I got second hand in 1991 or 1992! I am using Time pedals at the moment.
It is worth getting hold of a new set of cleats of your choice. If they fit, great! If not, there is always a pair of Shimano SPD pedals somewhere nearby!
Thank you...I'll hold fire for now until I actually know what I really want/need.I was offering shimano cleats for you to use with the Ritchey pedals in your original post, but I’m unsure of compatibility. No idea re Onza.
Thank you for your help...I'm kind of going in blind to a world of spds again!
So any help is appreciated
I have read loads that Shimano are so reliable and bomb proof...but I always like something less popular.
I was thinking about Time pedals as they look cool and Tomac used them ha ha.
But that's where my knowledge stops with them.
I've impulsively bought the pedals shown in post however I'm still open to options or offers!.
What time pedals do you use? And how do they perform?
Many thanks
Ian
