Clearing Dad’s Shed - Rory O’Brien find?

Johnnymilton

Retro Newbie
I’m clearing out my dad’s shed and came across his old bike. It’s in a bit of a sorry state but looks like it could be a genuine Rory O’Brien bike. I know he had a shop in Manor Park which isn’t far from where he lives in Aldersbrook. Don’t know much about these bikes but we be grateful if anyone could give me an idea of age and value. Any info greatly received. Thanks

Looking at the details it's an 80s bike. He didn't build his own frames as far as I know. He used a variety of London builders. He had a shop in Romford too. A nice frame being a fastback. The way the seat stays join at the seat clamp. 531c is a good tubeset.
Sadly in the current climate I would say £100 at the maximum.
