Cleaning Tyres

Re:

Goodness me! What is it about women and their washing machines? She asked "why have you put a wash on?" I replied "no reason, just catching up with the washing". She looked and asked "What the hell is that in my machine?!" "Tyres" I replied. She stormed off to bed (bonus) mumbling "The clothes are all going to smell of rubber".
Don't see what the big deal is myself! :-D

Re:

I use the dishwasher as it offers a larger area to put tyres in when the Mrs is out but make sure you turn it down to 40 or lower and not the usual 60 otherwise it makes them look a bit powdery so depending on your machine, the lower temps.

Gumwalls are always difficult to keep clean and rarely return to brand new in look but I tend to nail brush and mild soap solution scrub then put them in the dishwasher after.

I think she suspects but has never caught me, so far
