i had a punt on the re-run CK turq hubs.
ordered them in Oct '13, and today got a sweet parcel when i got home from work.
the colour is spot on ... but i have been sent a 130 axle package
i'll have to start up some corresponce regarding the 135mm axle that i need.

cool ...

top right the navy CK is 135mm, in the short term just whip that part off and fit onto the re-run hub?

is the main axle part the same and just the ends different? nice if it was ...

cheers al

I havent seen a modern classic hub (as I run r45 & isos) to know if King have changed the axle design in more recent years. but yes it certainly used to be the case, same axle, different axle ends .the classic hub used to be the same for both mountain & road, just the axle ends were different lengths.
2x 5mm allen keys, undo the non drive side end from the axle & screw in the longer axle end

email sent to AVT ...
hopefully less $$ to sort out

having notched up a 1/2 ton, i'm throwing all caution to the wind and taking this to Le Mans (24hrs) as my ride round the course, and to collect my perishable provisions ...

Re:

all sorted :D

emailed AVT, John (customer services) replied almost straight away. Said they would pop an axle end in the post and ship it, no cost ... can't recommend them enough.

Earlier on in the same day i had called BB out of curosity. The staff member made me feel un-welcomed regarding my enquiry, stated that it would be £15 quid if ever they were to get some in :|
