City Slickers

Odd thing is, hardly anybody makes a kevlar-beaded slick. The only one I can think of is the Ritchey Tom Slick (1.4).

How are you liking them offroad? Horses for courses!

I've got Scwalbe Crazy Bob 2.35's on my Identiti. I've taken them off-road too. They were good on hardpack (obviously), not too bad on rocks (dry 'uns) but when taking (loose or muddy) corners too fast they would start to wash-out as expected. Makes your bike look like a big BMX.

I have used 1.25" white wall city slickers on my RC100 over the last 18 months, the wall has blown on the front and I have just got an amber wall 1" slicker to try out. Turns my overly large RC100 into a slicked out commuter...I love it!

I've got a set of 1.25" Specialized Fatboys. They make the book look weird but they're wickd fast :) .
