Ciao Bella, tha knows like. (or Dalesman with some Italian flare)

So, it arrived later on this afternoon and I was surprised at how weighty it is, just shy of 13kg!
Also although bought from a charity bike shop on the Isle of Wight, this bike had originally been supplied in York by the gang at Cycle Heaven, still going strong after 30 years.

Ah well, best crack on with the build. Carbon Record post, San Marco Rolls saddle, Campagnolo pedals, ITM tall 50mm stem and Cinelli Fortek carbon bar. Nothing bought, all out of the spares/to sell box. Not sure about the stem position yet so it won’t get a Peachy Polish till I’ve ridden it.
If I love it I might keep an eye out for some 8sp Campagnolo “bullet” twist shifters. (Sold my set in January 🤦‍♂️ )

I like what you’re doing to it. I’ve got flat bars on my commuter and it’s much more comfortable now.
I’d say the stem looks a bit short for flat bars but no harm in trying it.

Yeah I’ve got other options, which is why I’m going to try it out before bothering with a polish up.
