This has been one of those frames that I stumbled on; bought a full bike for a handful of parts with the intention of selling the rest... Well, even after I had a deposit on the frame it was still too tempting to build up. A few emails to a fella down under, a big apology and a refunded deposit (he was very understanding!) and the decision was made...
...I've got a family, very little spare time and (used to) have too many bikes. My intense 5.5 is no longer, there's no point in me using such a capable bike for local xc rides and waiting/hoping for a chance to get out on the big stuff. So this is the new main ride, might change the forks for something lighter although I do love the pikes. Maybe add a dropper as well, we'll see. Anyway, pics:

Stunning looking bike. Keep the Pikes. Why change them if they work well and you're happy with the way they feel?
Also, funds permitting, pop a dropper in it.
The only thing I'd change if it were mine would be to run it as a 1 x 9. It all depends on the terrain you have around you. Saying that, I live in a bumpy part of Wales and I've just gone singlespeed. On the few rides I've been on since doing it I've not missed the gears. All I've done is swap ratios a bit.
